Kick off the new year with a new goal and a new training group! Coach Dave McGovern has created a new Long Island based marathon/half-marathon training group that will all be working toward the same key races. First up will be the Long Island marathon, half-marathon and 10k.
Event details and schedule
Participants will sign up for the Long Island 10k, half-marathon or full marathon, taking place in East Meadow on the weekend of May 4th, 5th, 2019. Coach Dave will custom design training schedules for beginning, intermediate and advanced walkers and runners for each event. We'll meet weekly through the winter months, and biweekly when spring rolls around. Membership will include weekly educational clinics, training heart rate testing, and membership in our private Facebook group.
