Walk 3to9 – Taking our commitment to end breast cancer to the next level
Fierce, Determined, Committed, Impassioned, Empowered – all adjectives used to describe the breast cancer community over the past two decades. But as multi-day events come and go, many alumni are left searching for a community to embrace – one that can help fuel their passion to make a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
That's where Walk 3to9 can help. Established in July 2018, Walk 3to9 is a 5k/10k/15k (3/6/9 mile) charity walk organized by fellow alumni and walker coaches who share a common passion in the fight against breast cancer.
Through the scenic trails of Kenneth Hahn State Recreational Area, walkers, survivors and volunteers will come together on Sunday, September 15th to raise funding and awareness to benefit the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation (www.drsusanloveresearch.org), an organization that funds Breast Cancer research, including Metastatic. Headquartered in Southern California, the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation is dedicated to achieving a future without breast cancer by engaging the public and scientific communities in innovative research on cause and prevention. The Foundation is highly-respected worldwide and receives 4/4 stars on Charity Navigator, the highest rating awarded.
SPACE IS LIMITED TO 300 PARTICIPANTS so register today to secure your spot! If you’re thinking of becoming a crewmember for the walk, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a list of crew opportunities.
We’ll see you on September 15th!
