Event Description

Come enjoy the beauty of Tennessee's most popular state park. Cooler temps, shaded run course, and the highest free-falling waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains are just a few of the attractions of the Fall Creek Falls Half Marathon (new) 10K & 5K Runs. Post-race snacks and music for all participants. Centrally located between Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville. Race start time is 8 AM Central Time. 

Late registration & Packet pick up is Saturday, August 17 from 5 to 6:30 PM CST & Sunday, August 18 from 6:45 to 7:45 AM. Half Marathon will start at 8 AM & 10K at 8:10 AM & 5K at 8:15 AM . Pre-event information will be sent to participants the week of the event. 5K Map link here  -10K Map link here - Routes begin & end through the Taft Village area and across Fall Creek Falls Dam - 5K does an out & back on paved path through woods to LEFT after Dam - Half Marathon & 10K route goes RIGHT after Dam & follows paved path & park roads past the Inn at Fall Creek Falls back to Dam and FINISH in Taft Village area. Half Marathon is TWO-LOOPS of paved bike trail  / park road sections. Timing verification points will be along course.   Aid stations each mile with water & Base Performance. Path route is completely shaded. Please stay on side of road marked with TRAFFIC CONES throughout the course.

RACE LOCATION – Fall Creek Falls State Park, Pikeville, TN (please allow extra travel time – park is remote & rural but worth the trip!)

Age Groups and Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers, top male and female Masters (40+) and Grand Masters (50+). Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

Registration processing fees are included in the entry fee for each event, no additional charges. Endurance Sports Management has enabled event insurance for your consideration in the event you are unable to compete. Please review this option during the registration process.

Refund Policy - Endurance Sports Management has a NO REFUND policy. This is based on our pricing structure to provide 15% of GROSS REVENUES to our charity partners. Insurance is available during the registration of each event. Please take advantage of this option should you wish to insure your entry fees.

Race entries are non-transferable between individuals.

Event Cancellation / Modification Policy - If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows: 

1. Endurance Sports Management in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first. 

2. Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between Endurance Sports Management and local officials

3. Financial: It is not financially feasible for Endurance Sports Management to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event.

4. Endurance Sports Management does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.
