Adult Triathlon only for 2020

KIDS TRIATHLON - SATURDAY, Aug 8th - Cancelled

Kids Triathlon for ages 3 - 12 , Green Lake in Spicer, MN

AWARDS AND GIFTS: All participants will receive a finishers medal, t-shirt (for those who register before the cut-off date), and goodie bag with the top 3 finishers in each age group receiving a medal.

COURSES:
Swimming takes place in shallow water along the public beach area. Parents can be in the water anytime. Bike and run course for bottom 2 age groups is in a closed setting for safety reasons (Saulsbury parking lot). Older bike routes are in a residential area in Spicer.

Transition areas are limited to athletes and parents of athletes under the age of 7. Children 7 and over may NOT receive assistance in this area. Race volunteers will be available in the transition area.

AGE GROUPS

Boys and Girls Combined 3-4 yr old Distances: Swim 20yd, Bike 1 lap, Run 1 lap
Boys and Girls Combined 5-6 yr old Distances: Swim 50yd, Bike 3 laps, Run 1 lap

**Ages below have separate girls and boys divisions**
7-8 yr old Distances: Swim 75yd, Bike 1mi, Run .5 mi
9-10 yr old Distances: Swim 100yd, Bike 2mi, Run .5 mi
11-12 yr old Distances: Swim 150yd, Bike 3mi, Run 1 mi

ADULT TRIATHLON - SUNDAY, Aug 9th - Event is on for 2020

Green Lake Triathlon for ages 13 and up, Green Lake Spicer, MN

Events:

Individual Sprint or Olympic course and Sprint or Olympic Relays.
Relay team may be made up of any combination of 2 or 3 people, male or female.

Course:
The race starts off with a nice swim in sandy Green Lake. The bike ride takes a path of gently rolling hills around the Green Lake area, with a 3 mile run to the finish. The course is well marked with distances clearly posted.
Sprint Course: 1/4 mile swim, 14 mile bike, 3 mile run
Olympic Course: 3/4 mile swim, 22 mile bike, 6 mile run

Zorbaz on Green Lake
Option # 1  Aug 8th, 5-7 pm (North door) 

Option # 2 Aug 9th, 6:30 am - 7:45 am (tent in parking lot)

Body Markings:
Next to packet pick-up (Tent).

Transition area:
Location: Parking lot next to Zorbaz
Time: you can bring in your bike starting at 6:30am and you MUST be set-up and out of the transition area by 7:45 am
