Event Description

When you register for this race you will be supporting the Mesa County Search and Rescue Ground Team, a non profit organization made up of volunteers who donate their time to help those in their time of need. The trails that make up the Kokopelli Trail System are in a vast and beautiful area with robust sandstone cliffs and views of the Colorado river.

Early packet pick-up will be Friday August 21, 2020 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Sheriff's Office at 215 Rice Street, follow the signs!

Course Info:

16.5 mile --> Begins Saturday 8/22 at 7:00am 
8.5 mile --> Begins Saturday 8/22 at 7:30am
5K --> Begins Saturday 8/22 at 8:00am

Arrival/Parking Information:

Park in a spot in the Kokopelli Trailhead Parking Lot. Start/finish line is at the parking lot alongside the check in area at the shelter. If you haven't picked up your packet you can come get it at the check-in shelter. If you haven't pre-registered please note that the prices for each race increases by $5.00 on the day of the race. Please bring your ID, cash or card if you plan on registering in person on race day. 

What to bring/wear:

Water and sunscreen, or weather appropriate clothing. There is limited shade in this area so please come prepared!
