HURON HALF 2020

Why We Are Hosting This Run

With traditional races cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future, we are going to continue our tradition of thinking "outside the box" to safely provide runners in our community a way to celebrate our sport, and test their mettle.

We have elected to make this half marathon free of charge as a way to say THANK YOU to our amazing supporters who have kept the AARC ship afloat during this very strange time in history. This course is ideal for an "individual time trial," as it is mostly flat, with very few chances for being stalled at intersections.

Our team will be taking extra care and precautions to ensure this is a SAFE event for our community, and ask runners to do their part, as well.

What Runners Can Expect

• FREE Half Marathon along the B2B path in Ann Arbor
• Out-and-back course, marked with turn signs, and turnaround points
• 4x contactless water bottle stations with recycle bins 50m from each station
• Using Strava to record unofficial results if that's your thing
• Start anytime between 6:00am and 8:00am on Sunday, July 26th, 2020
