Event Description

Our race is on for 2020!  We have confirmed that our permit with the Town of Brookhaven is still active.  Should this change, we will notify participants in advance and allow you to carry your registration forward to next year or receive a refund. 

Come race or walk with us through the beautiful rolling hills, tree lined streets and sparkling harbor of Stony Brook Village!  Our race is professionally timed by Schwab's Second Wind, specialists of running shoes and equipment in East Setauket. All proceeds from the race will be dedicated to making the Stanford White-designed (and National Landmark) chapel and its programming (concerts, poetry, Gregorian Chant, daily visitation, etc.) available to all.

And be a part of our LEND A HAND-BRING A CAN can food drive to help the hungry throughout Long Island.

Event details and schedule

All Participants please sign in at our Registration Desk behind the Church.  You may pick up your free tee shirt (if you registered before 9/19) and pick up your BIBS.  Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. RACE TIME IS 9:00. Day of race walk-ins not using Active.com: check or cash only.

Award ceremony with medal presentations and prizes immediately following race at registration area.

Parking: Please park in the Town of Brookhaven parking lot, adjacent to the Stony Brook Yacht Club (opposite the Three Village Inn - 1/8 mile past the Church along Main Street) in the Village of Stony Brook.

Children Racing or Walking under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
