- The race packets and bags are ready to be picked up at Thane's house off the front porch @ 7819 Bonaventure Drive.
- When you arrive on Sunday morning, please don't park in the Clubhouse parking lot or along Marsh Oaks Drive and Sanderling Place. We will be using that area for the transitions during the race.

Common Questions –
1.A triathlon consists of swimming, bike, and running. In that order.
2. The youngest age group 5-6, a parent will be allowed to run next to your children during the bike and the run
if you would like to supervise. Under NO circumstances will a parent be allowed to ride a bicycle during the
bike or run. This is identical to the rules of USAT and the YMCA triathlon rules.
3. ALL participates must register for the race prior to the event. Please do not show up race morning without
registering first, your child will not be able to participate.
4. All participants must sign a waiver on race morning during the registration race morning.
5. This year the one and only sponsor is our Makos Swim Team.
6. ONLY Marsh Oaks residents/children and Marsh Oaks Makos will be allowed to participate in the event. We
will have a cap of 75 participants this year. If we reach the 75 cap, an email and Facebook message will be
sent out
7. The order of the race will be the youngest age group first. Once ALL of the participants have completed the race
with the respective age groups, we will then start the next age group with the same protocol.
8. EVERY participant must wear a helmet on the bicycle ride and have it buckled the entire ride or they will be
disqualified.
9. The participants must ride a bicycle - a scooter, razor, etc will not be allowed. Two wheels and a seat during
the bike portion.
10. Participants must be able to swim the distance without the use of aided flotation. Participants are allowed
to utilize any stroke style, hold onto the side of the pool, lane lines, and touch the bottom of the pool (if
needed). If the participant exits the pool prior to completing the swim distances, they will be disqualified.
11. All finishers will receive a very cool medal at the finish line.
We hope this answer several of the questions.
