Event Description

The 14th Annual Frank Baccus Easter 5K Run/Walk will be in person and have a run at home option as well.  All proceeds from the race will benefit the on going ministry of the Mount Vernon Christian Church. The church has been serving the Walton County community for over 165 years and is the second oldest Christian Church in Georgia, being established in August, 1842.

If you run at home, please submit your time to http://tiny.cc/21FrankBaccus5KTimes no later than 12 Noon on April 3.  Times will be entered at the end of your respective age group for BBRS and Clover Glove. Run anywhere between March 27 and April 3.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration: Begins at 7AM

5K: Starts at 8AM

Awards: Pottery Awards will be presented to in-person Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and top 3 in-person M/F in standard age groups.  No awards for run at home participants

Shirts and Goodies: All pre registered participants will be guaranteed a t-shirt.  No shirts for run at home participants

Timing and Results:  Results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2021 Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
