Event Description
We're challenging you to walk (or run) 15 miles, over 15 days to celebrate our 15 years of service! With COVID-19, the need is greater than ever before. In 2020, Pretty In Pink received a record amount of applications. But thanks to our amazing supporters, we have never turned away a single, qualified applicant and it's our goal to continue that tradition in 2021!
Make an even bigger impact by fundraising! You can create a team or fundraise on your own. Help us hit our overall goal of $5,000!!! While we can't all walk together in person, we're excited to have a virtual event that folks from the mountains to the coast can participate in-- since we help Champions across the entire state! Let's all "Walk for a Champion"!
Fundraising goals: We encourage you all to fundraise for Pretty In Pink! You can win some really cool prizes...
- If you raise $500-- you get a Pretty In Pink swag bag!
- If you raise $1,000-- you get a GNC swag bag!
- If you are the top fundraiser when the walkathon is complete-- you get a $50 gift card, bragging rights and a social media shout-out!!!
- The top fundraiser team gets a Pretty In Pink swag bag/GNC swag bag, bragging rights and a social media shout-out!
What is a virtual walkathon?
Walk (or run) 15 miles between April 1st and April 15th! You can walk a mile every day, or you can a couple miles every other day. Submit your miles on the race website and don't forget to include some selfies!
Important dates:
Wednesday, March 31st- Registration closes at 11:59pm
Thursday, April 1st- Walkathon begins
Thursday, April 15th- Last day of Walkathon...get those miles in by 11:59pm!
