Event Description

Lace up your sneakers and hit your local parks, neighborhoods, and tracks to support Parenting Matters!
Join us as we walk 10,000 steps (approximately 5 miles) to raise $15,000 in a virtual walk/run for children and parents. There’s no better time to stay active, stay connected with others as a virtual community, and support our vital mission to keep kids safe. 
 
Registration Includes:
Free run/walk t-shirt for first 100 registrants
Race bib
Your personal run/walk page to track your donations and progress toward personal goals.

We challenge you to:
Grab your friends and create a team
Collect sponsors – ask friends and family to pledge per mile (suggested minimum pledge: $1 per mile)
Walk or run at least 10,000 steps or 5 miles between May 17 – 27 (hey, if you want to go further, we won’t stop you!)
Tag us in photos or videos of your walk on Facebook and Instagram (#10,000for10,000)
Whether you are a walker, runner, or something in between – we hope that you will join us in our mission to help children stay safe and happy in their homes.
