Event Description

The 2nd Annual Tri The Island Triathlon will be held on beautiful Pensacola Beach on June 10, 2017. The nationally-known Santa Rosa Island Triathlon, Inc. is producing this quality event to welcome first-timers to the sport and to provide an outstanding racing experience for seasoned triathletes. A sold-out field of 500 athletes is expected to compete. The race distances are a 300 yard swim, 10 mile bike, and 2 mile run. We look forward to seeing you compete in our newest USAT sanctioned event.

Event details and schedule

Online registration closes when the event is sold-out or on June 7, 2017 no exceptions. Late registration will be offered on Friday, June 9th, 2017 at Packet Pick-up, if the event is not sold-out. As a USA Triathlon sanctioned race, the Tri The Island Triathlon DOES NOT offer refunds or deferrals. Packet Pick-up will be held from 3-7 PM Friday, June 9th, 2017 at Bamboo Willie's on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk and from 5:45-6:30 AM Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at the Casino Beach Pavilion. Transition is open from 5:45-6:45 am to rack bikes, stow equipment and for body-marking. The race starts promptly at 7:00 AM on June 10th, 2017.
